Ancestral Medicine
Ancestral Medicine is a gently guided process with the world of spirit as we connect with ancestors in our lineage and the collective unifying thread to explore and assist multigenerational wounds in a healing process.
Many traditions hold the belief that the physical, emotional and spiritual energetic patterns are passed down through our soul’s DNA. Ancestors and their beliefs can influence our life experiences, our responses, our health and our choices. Many times they literally attach themselves to our energy fields to work out unresolved challenges or perhaps to support us.
The work entails creating healthier boundaries with those wounds and their ancestral origins, supporting a sacred space for the client to come to a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationship to those wounds, and ways in which to heal. It involves creating functional relationships with those here on earth and beyond the veil, especially those who are supportive of our process.
We don’t become our wounds. We respond to them. Many stories are told through us, not just our own.
A lack of ancestral history does not hinder the work which is spiritually and emotionally rooted in a safe space.
Medical Intuition
A medical intuitive assists clients with the exploration of the contributing factors and root causes of physical, emotional and spiritual ailments. All conditions have a frequency as do their origins. There are many contributing factors to ailments – emotional, familial, environmental, spiritual such as prior incarnations or spirit attachments, and a collective ancestral lineage. Through Laura’s various abilities, she is able to provide insight and supportive healing tools while facilitating long distance healing. Those tools might be nutritional or supplement suggestions, emotional or physical exercises, referrals to other practitioners, or spiritual practices. Sometimes the healing medicine is simply to go out and play. These sessions are not used to diagnose in the traditional sense or take the place of a licensed health care provider, but they offer a perspective that is so often missed by traditional systems.
Laura’s work is incredibly multidimensional. She has been able to communicate with babies in utero and provide insight towards emotional and physical patterns following birth as well as communicate with those who are unconscious from a medical condition. Laura can work with a surrogate family member for another family member who is unable but will benefit from the work as long as permission is granted. She also utilizes muscle testing over the phone and has done so for years with great accuracy. Laura “tracks” patterns as Spirit will allow: in tissues, organs, cells and within the astral plane in what she considers a multi generational
and multi dimensional exploration. The most important aspect to Laura’s work is the ability to hold space. Not just for ailments, but for their root causes and the relationships they acquire across the collective. The healing tools and support she provides also reflect those relationships. Although Medical Intuition uses the word “medical,” it is not to be considered the practice of medicine or a substitute for licensed medical care, diagnosis or treatment, but rather a skill designed to support integrative health practices.
Spiritual Mentorship

The spiritual life weaves an unknown light within an unknown darkness, both of which are subject to Divine Providence. Laura has worked with clients from many spiritual traditions, holding a neutral and gentle space while subjects on the spiritual life are explored with grace and a prayerful presence.
Earth Medicine
There is a funny story that Laura likes to share. When she was writing her first book, The Divine Nature of Plants, she took those thirty plants she worked with and planted them in her backyard. She went out each day praying and speaking to them, as well as those spirits who had inhabited the land centuries ago. The part of New York City Laura lives in was home to a few Native American Tribes, one of them being the Siwanoy. Within weeks, those plants grew like wildflowers. The photographer for the book inquired as to what kind of miracle grow she used. Of course she didn’t use anything. The relationship to those plants and indigenous spirits became her medicine. Laura sits with the earth and those spirits who inhabit it on many occasions. She has journeyed on behalf of both client and Spirit when there are issues relating to home, land and health. She journeys with plants on behalf of clients to see what medicine they might offer.
